"Due to an ongoing investigation within the party, the resignations of our Isparta Deputy Hasan Basri Sönmez, Bolu Deputy İsmail Akgül, and Kilis Deputy Mustafa Demir were requested, and subsequently, their resignation letters have been accepted. Submitted for public information..."
It was announced that Semih Yalçın will make a statement regarding the resignations later today.

It is reported that their resignations were requested from the party because their names were mentioned in a judicial investigation opened on this matter.

WHO IS HASAN BASRİ SÖNMEZ?
Hasan Basri Sönmez was born in 1974 in the Yalvaç district of Isparta. He graduated from the Business Management Department of Isparta University of Applied Sciences.
He began his professional life in the leather industry, which is his family's trade; he continued his career abroad in the tourism, food, and construction sectors.
He served as the Yalvaç Ülkü Ocakları President between 1996-1999 and as the Isparta Provincial President between 2020-2022.
He was elected as the 28th Term Isparta Deputy from the MHP in the May 14, 2023 elections.
WHO IS İSMAİL AKGÜL?
İsmail Akgül was born in 1986 in Bolu. He graduated from the Justice Vocational School of Atatürk University. He is continuing his education in the Business Administration Department of the same university.
He worked as an execution and protection officer for 9 years. He served as the civil defense chief at the Bolu DSI 53rd Branch Directorate. He served as the Bolu Ülkü Ocakları President between 2016-2021. He served as the Green Crescent (Yeşilay) Bolu Branch President between 2021-2023.
İsmail Akgül was elected as the 28th Term Bolu Deputy from the MHP.
WHO IS MUSTAFA DEMİR?
Mustafa Demir was born in 1980 in Kilis. He graduated from the Business Administration Department of the 7 Aralık University Vocational School.
He worked as a personnel officer at the Kilis Youth and Sports Directorate. He has served in various levels and organizations of the Ülkü Ocakları since 1995.
He served as the MHP Kilis Central District President in 2017 and as the MHP Kilis Provincial President between 2020-2023.
He was elected as the 28th Term Kilis Deputy from the MHP in the May 14, 2023 elections.
