Resigned from the Future Party, visited Bahçeli: 'We discussed Turkey's agenda'
Doğan Demir, who resigned from his position as an Istanbul MP for the Future Party stating that "there is no political ground left," announced in a social media post that he visited Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli.
Demir stated that during the meeting, they discussed Turkey's agenda, the fundamental rights and demands of Alevis, and solution proposals under the heading of the "Process for a Turkey Without Terrorism."
Sharing a photo of the meeting on his social media account, Demir used the following expressions:

“I met with MHP Chairman Mr. Devlet BAHÇELİ, and we talked and exchanged ideas on our country's agenda, the Process for a Turkey Without Terrorism, and the Fundamental Rights and Demands of Alevis.
I would like to thank him very much for his hospitality.”
Doğan Demir had announced his resignation from the Future Party on social media on July 21, 2024.
