Response from CHP's Burhanettin Bulut to Fahrettin Altun: 'You will be held accountable for this'

CHP Deputy Chairman responsible for Public Relations and Media Relations, Burhanettin Bulut, reacted sharply to Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, who criticized the CHP's boycott call.

Bulut said, "He never makes a sound when television screens are blacked out or when unfair penalties are imposed, but he turns into a hawk when his cronies are touched! You will be held accountable for these insolent, lawless, and reckless actions!" 

BOYCOTT CALL HAD BECOME A TOPIC OF AGENDA 

The announcement of a new list regarding the 'boycott' call directed at media organizations by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel at the Maltepe rally became a major topic of discussion in the country.

One of the figures who reacted to Özel's 'boycott' call was Communications Director Fahrettin Altun. Altun stated, "The expressions used by the CHP Chairman today at an outdoor meeting regarding many media organizations and his so-called boycott calls against national companies reflect his party's ideological obsessions and reveal its political helplessness." 

Quoting Altun's social media post, CHP Deputy Chairman responsible for Public Relations and Media Relations, Burhanettin Bulut, said, "The head of the Palace's black propaganda machine has also spoken. Fahrettin Altun, an appointed civil servant of the state,

arrogantly sees it as his right to speak against a party's chairman and elected members of parliament. Meddling in politics is not only insolence but also a crime. He never makes a sound when television screens are blacked out or when unfair penalties are imposed, but he turns into a hawk when his cronies are touched! You will be held accountable for these insolent, lawless, and reckless actions!"

WHAT DID FAHRETTİN ALTUN SAY?

Communications Director Fahrettin Altun had used the following expressions regarding Özgür Özel's boycott call: 

"The statements made by the CHP Chairman today at an outdoor rally regarding many media organizations, and his so-called boycott calls against national companies, reflect his party's ideological obsessions and reveal its political helplessness.

The CHP Chairman, who begs for attention and recklessly complains about his country when it comes to Western media organizations, is spewing hatred toward domestic and national media organizations that operate with the sweat of thousands of workers. He is attempting to lynch any domestic firm or organization that does not join his ideological company, dragging them into his caravan."

This is an effort to stir up the country, divide people, and polarize society.

This effort has no standing in the eyes of our noble nation.

As our President always states, politics is the art of uniting, not dividing.
