Response from Şahan Gökbakar to Cem Yılmaz

While reactions continue against some celebrities for 'remaining silent' following the arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, a statement regarding the wave of detentions and arrests came from actor, director, and cartoonist Cem Yılmaz, who has left his mark on humor in Turkey with his one-man shows.

Yılmaz also shared the poster for his 1998 film 'Her Şey Çok Güzel Olacak' (Everything Will Be Great), which he wrote and starred in, with the note, "I was coming back while you were leaving."
