Restaurant where 25 people were hospitalized in Şişli sealed off
After 25 people who ate at a restaurant in Şişli, Istanbul, sought medical attention due to suspected food poisoning, municipal police teams sealed off the establishment.
In the restaurant located on Büyükdere Street in the Esentepe neighborhood of Şişli, 25 people had sought medical attention due to suspected food poisoning after eating a meal. Following this, teams from the Şişli Municipality Municipal Police, the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, and the Ministry of Health took action. The teams went to the restaurant together, examined the products, and conducted inspections.
Teams from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry took samples of the products sold at the restaurant. Following the inspection, the municipal police teams sealed the restaurant and terminated its operations. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
RESTAURANT OWNER DEFENDS HIMSELF
On the other hand, the restaurant owner claimed that the poisoning was not caused by the food and shared footage of himself giving the same meals to his daughter.
