Retired colonel father of murdered courier speaks through tears
The retired colonel father of Ata Emre Akman, a university student who worked as a courier for a chain restaurant in Balıkesir and was stabbed to death by E.Ö., tearfully expressed his reaction to the events.
The father of university student Ata Emre Akman, who was killed by E.Ö. after his motorcycle was blocked, said, “Over 25 thousand soldiers passed through my command. Not a single one of my soldiers had a nosebleed, but I could not protect my own child.”
Ata Emre Akman, a student in the Tourism Guidance Department of the Faculty of Tourism at Balıkesir University who worked as a courier for a chain restaurant on Emir Street in the Karaoğlan neighborhood of Balıkesir's central Karesi district, had his path blocked by E.Ö. for an unknown reason while returning from a delivery.
"I COULD NOT PROTECT MY OWN CHILD"
E.Ö. stabbed Akman in various parts of his body. While Akman was left covered in blood, E.Ö. fled the scene. Upon notification by bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
Checks by the medical team determined that Akman had lost his life. Following investigations by the police and the prosecutor at the scene, the lifeless body of Ata Emre Akman was taken to the morgue of Balıkesir Atatürk City Hospital.
In his statement, Ata Emre Akman's father said, “Over 25 thousand soldiers passed through my command. Not a single one of my soldiers had a nosebleed, but I could not protect my own child.”
Ata Emre Akman's mother stated the following:
“Ata traveled to 11 countries alone last year. But we should not say he died here."
This murderer is a murderer raised by the Turkish justice system."
