Reuters announces: One of its employees killed in missile strike on hotel

The statement noted that Evans was killed yesterday when the hotel where he was staying in the Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk was struck in a missile attack.
The statement, which reported that two journalists from the Reuters team were taken to the hospital and that one is in serious condition, added, "We have been able to reach our other three colleagues, and they are safe."
The statement emphasized that efforts are underway to gather information regarding the attack and extended condolences to Evans's family and loved ones.

ZELENSKYY BLAMES RUSSIA
On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a post on his X social media account blaming Russia for the attack.
Stating that debris removal efforts had been ongoing all day "following the missile strike carried out by Russia," Zelenskyy noted that journalists from the Reuters team were among those injured.
Stating that "a Russian Iskander missile" destroyed the hotel, Zelenskyy noted that this was carried out deliberately and in a planned manner.
Mentioning that 7 people were injured and 1 person lost their life in the incident, Zelenskyy offered his condolences.
