In a statement on its Arabic-language X social media account, Reuters shared updated information regarding yesterday's attack in which Abdallah lost his life.

The statement indicated that the Reuters television cameraman died due to a rocket fired by Israel.

The Qatar-based Al Jazeera media network, which had two of its journalists injured in the attack, also held Israel responsible for the strike on journalists in southern Lebanon. Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati stated in his remarks yesterday that Israel had carried out an attack directly targeting journalists in the country's southern border region.

An official from the Israeli military spokesperson's office had said that they were neither denying nor confirming the incident and were investigating the details.
