Rıfat Serdaroğlu's reaction to Bilal Erdoğan over 'shalwar' comments: 'Wear it, you basket case Bilal, wear a leaf if you want'

Doğru Party Chairman Rıfat Serdaroğlu responded harshly on social media to the statements made by Bilal Erdoğan regarding "shalwar" and "backwardness."

Serdaroğlu criticized Erdoğan through messages posted on his X account.

In a YouTube program he attended, Bilal Erdoğan pointed to his suit and said, "Wearing a shalwar is more comfortable. But when you wear a shalwar, you are a bigot, you are backward. When you wear a suit, you are civilized and modern. This has been the case for us for 200 years." These statements quickly became a topic of discussion and drew reactions from various segments of society.

In his reaction to Erdoğan's words, Rıfat Serdaroğlu stated the following:

"Oh, you basket case Bilal! 'Shalwar is more comfortable! I wish I could wear it!' Wear it, you basket case, wear just a leaf if you want! But look at Colani! He moved from shalwar to wearing a suit!
