Road rage incident on Şile Highway: Driver attacks minibus driver

The incident began with a right-of-way dispute between a shuttle minibus traveling in the direction of Üsküdar on the Şile Highway and a car moving directly in front of it.

According to allegations, the female driver of the car, dissatisfied with the minibus driver despite traffic being clear, slowed her vehicle down, effectively disrupting traffic and preventing the minibus behind her from proceeding.

The tension escalated in a short time. The car driver suddenly stopped her vehicle in the middle of the road. Despite attempts by another female passenger sitting in the front seat to stop her, the angry driver opened her door and quickly headed toward the minibus driver. The female driver, who hurled insults at the driver, was unable to control her temper and repeatedly kicked and punched the minibus.

While the events drew the attention of other drivers in traffic, footage of the fight was soon reflected on social media. In the footage in question, it was clearly seen that the fight flared up suddenly and the minibus was subjected to violence following the insults.

While no statement has been made regarding whether police teams have launched an investigation into the incident, it was once again demonstrated that such tensions between drivers pose a risk to traffic safety.
