According to the statement made by the Istanbul Governorate, as part of the 101st Anniversary Celebration Events of the October 29 Republic Day, a "Republic Day Celebration Ceremony and Parade" program will be held tomorrow on Vatan Street in Fatih.

2 ROADS WILL BE CLOSED IN ISTANBUL

Due to the program, Adnan Menderes Boulevard (Vatan Street) and all roads leading to the boulevard will be closed to traffic from 06:00 tomorrow until the end of the program at appropriate points.

As an alternative to these roads, Turgut Özal Boulevard (Millet Street) and Fevzipaşa Street can be used.

CLOSED ROADS IN ANKARA

In a statement made by the Ankara Police Department, it was stated that some roads will be closed to vehicle traffic due to the events to be held as part of the October 29 Republic Day celebrations.

In the statement, the roads and streets that will be closed to two-way vehicle traffic starting from 06:00 today were listed as follows:

"The section of Atatürk Boulevard between Kuğulu Junction and Ulus Square, the section of İsmet İnönü Boulevard between Mareşal Fevzi Çakmak Street and Akay Junction, the section of GMK Boulevard between July 15 Kızılay National Will Square and Anadolu Square, the variants providing connection from Talatpaşa Boulevard and Hipodrom Street to Cumhuriyet Street, the variants providing connection from Cumhuriyet Street to Talatpaşa Boulevard and Hipodrom Street, the section of Ziya Gökalp Street between July 15 Kızılay National Will Square and Kolej Square, the section of Dikmen Street between July 15 Martyrs Square (General Staff Junction) and the intersection with Çetin Emeç Boulevard, the section of Istanbul Street between Kazım Karabekir Street and İstiklal Street, the section of Cumhuriyet Street between Ulus Square and the Train Station Junction, the section of Milli Müdafaa Street between July 15 Martyrs Square (General Staff Junction) and GMK Boulevard, and all of İstiklal Street, Çankırı Street, Gençlik Street, Akdeniz Street, Anıt Street, and Sporpark Street, along with all roads leading to them."

The roads that will be closed to two-way vehicle traffic starting from 08:00 today are as follows in the statement:

"The section of Talatpaşa Boulevard between Atatürk Boulevard and the Hipodrom Street-Train Station Junction, the section of Hipodrom Street between the Talatpaşa Boulevard-Train Station Junction and Mevlana Boulevard, the section of Kazımkarabekir Street between Istanbul Street and Anadolu Square, and all roads leading to them."

The statement also conveyed that if necessary, the variants providing connection from Celal Bayar Boulevard to Kazım Karabekir Street, the side variants of Kazım Karabekir Street providing connection to Celal Bayar Boulevard and the section remaining up to Anadolu Square, the section of Dögol Street between Beşevler Junction and Anadolu Square, and Mareşal Fevzi Çakmak Street along with all roads leading to it will be closed to two-way vehicle traffic.
