ROK announces decision to step away

Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, one of the most talked-about figures in sports media, has announced that he is taking a break from his role on Beyaz TV, where he has been a commentator for a long time.

Kütahyalı, who draws attention with his commentary on both the Beyaz Futbol and Derin Futbol programs every week, stated that he needs to rest following recent developments.

I am asking for a break from you all, and I would like to take a hiatus from our television legend, the Beyaz Futbol program, for a while.

I need to collect myself and recover. Even if I were to appear on screen tonight, it would not be possible for me to deliver the ROK performance that you love and enjoy so much. I do not want to just sit in a chair for the sake of filling it. Please give me some time, dear Beyaz Futbol viewers.

I have conveyed my request for a break from Beyaz Futbol to Osman Gökçek. He respected my decision, and Gökçek gave a speech that moved me deeply. It was a very brave and sincere speech that stood by the spirit of Beyaz Futbol and by me wholeheartedly. Those who know him well know that Osman Gökçek is a very valiant friend and a true companion.

I love the fans of Beyaz Futbol and you, our viewers, very much. I love my dear friend Ertem Şener, and my masters Ahmet Çakar, Sinan Engin, and Abdülkerim Durmaz. I love the Beyaz Futbol team, which is a tremendously hardworking and productive staff, led by master Devrim Zengi.

Apologizing to everyone, I, as ROK, am asking for a break from all my colleagues, and especially from my fellow Galatasaray fans and my brothers.
