RTÜK members determined
The members of the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) were determined in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly.
Elections were held in the TBMM General Assembly for the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) memberships allocated to the AK Party, CHP, and the IYI Party.
Before the elections, the names of the candidates were read out. The candidates were listed as follows:
"AK Party candidates Hasan Davulcu, Erhan Güven; CHP candidates Tuncay Keser, Ahmet Kılınç; IYI Party candidates Ahmet Can Buğday and Emin Erdoğan."
A total of 416 deputies cast their votes in the elections. The results were as follows: AK Party candidates Hasan Davulcu received 387 votes and Erhan Güven 124; CHP candidates Tuncay Keser received 339 votes and Ahmet Kılınç 51; IYI Party candidates Ahmet Can Buğday received 307 votes and Emin Erdoğan 56; there was one blank vote and 7 invalid votes. As a result of the voting, Hasan Davulcu, Tuncay Keser, and Ahmet Can Buğday were elected as RTÜK members.
