Warning from RTÜK President Daniş regarding 'Zonguldak mining accident'
Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) President Mehmet Daniş has warned broadcasting organizations to protect family privacy during their coverage of the mining accident in Zonguldak.
Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) President Mehmet Daniş, in a post on his social media account, wished God's mercy upon the workers who lost their lives in the mining accident in Zonguldak, and extended his patience and condolences to their grieving families and relatives.
In his post, Daniş stated the following: "I also wish a speedy recovery to our citizens who were rescued from under the rubble. I would like to importantly remind our broadcasting organizations of the necessity to show maximum sensitivity in their broadcasts, within the framework of respect for the privacy of grieving families and human dignity, and in accordance with the provisions of the relevant legislation. May our nation have our condolences."
