Sharp response from RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin to Fatih Altaylı: 'Coin-operated slander machine...'

A polemic has erupted between Ebubekir Şahin, who has served as the President of RTÜK for 7 years, and Fatih Altaylı, who has been producing broadcasts on his own YouTube channel since leaving Habertürk.

Fatih Altaylı had used the following expressions regarding RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin:

"The man has wanted to be the Communications Director for 3 years. Did his impartiality suffer just because he congratulated the AK Party? That is the least of his crimes. He has to put it in their face so he can get into their good graces."

Ebubekir Şahin made a post on his social media account, accusing Fatih Altaylı of broadcasting for money. Using harsh language against Altaylı, whom he accused of trampling on the honor of journalism, Şahin said, "You go, let your masters come."
