Statement from RTÜK President Şahin on 'productions violating the law'
Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) President Ebubekir Şahin stated, "After the necessary examinations, if there are productions that violate the law, the necessary sanctions will be applied."
In a statement on his social media account, Şahin announced that the supreme council is meticulously carrying out the inspection process regarding television series in the new broadcasting season.

"At the beginning of a new broadcasting season, our monitoring experts are on alert regarding productions that our citizens are frequently uncomfortable with. In this context, our follow-up continues uninterrupted regarding series that are met with reaction in our society and are alleged to violate our national security. Our citizens should rest assured. After the necessary examinations, if there are productions that violate the law, the necessary sanctions will be applied. Respectfully announced to the public."
