RTÜK rains down fines again: Kızılcık Şerbeti is among them!
RTÜK member İlhan Taşcı announced that NOW, Flash Haber, and TGRT have been fined on the grounds of "broadcasting contrary to the principle of accuracy" and "broadcasting contrary to the indivisibility of the state with its country and nation."
Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) member İlhan Taşcı announced that the institution has issued fines to NOW, Flash Haber, and TGRT on the grounds of "broadcasting contrary to the principle of accuracy" and "broadcasting contrary to the indivisibility of the state with its country and nation."
Taşcı's statement is as follows:
"A bombardment of fines from RTÜK! Upon the complaint of Ülkü Ocakları President Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım, a 2% administrative fine was imposed on FOX/NOW TV with the claim of broadcasting contrary to the 'principle of accuracy.' The decision was taken by majority vote."
