Rulings announced for 9 people in latest İBB operation
5 arrests and 4 judicial supervision orders were announced in the 7th wave of operations targeting İBB.
In the investigation into Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, 5 of the 25 people detained on allegations of "irregularities" in İSFALT and İETT tenders have been arrested, while 4 were released under judicial supervision.
Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, 9 of the 25 people who were detained on allegations of "bid rigging" in tenders from İSFALT and İETT during the latest operations — and who were referred to the courthouse after completing police procedures — were sent to the Magistrate's Criminal Court with a request for arrest.
Of the 9 people for whom arrest was requested, 5 were arrested. A ruling was issued to release 4 of them under judicial supervision conditions. The number of those released under judicial supervision rose to 20.
