Russia-Ukraine meeting in Istanbul
According to a statement made by the Ukrainian side, the next meeting is planned to be held in Turkey on Wednesday.
The 3rd round of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia will take place in Turkey on Wednesday.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he was informed by officials that the meeting would be held on Wednesday.
STATEMENTS FROM PESKOV
Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that draft memorandums would be discussed in the third round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, saying, "These are contradictory. Therefore, a great deal of diplomatic work will be required."
Peskov answered journalists' questions about current issues in the capital, Moscow.
Evaluating the possibility of the third round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine being held this week, Peskov said, "We are in favor of holding the third round of negotiations. We will inform you when an understanding is reached regarding the date of the negotiations."
Reminding that Russia and Ukraine have presented each other with draft memorandums regarding a peace agreement, Peskov said, "In the negotiations, there will be an exchange of views on the draft memorandums. These are contradictory. Therefore, a great deal of diplomatic work will be required."
Dmitry Peskov said there were no changes to the Russian delegation that will participate in the negotiations with Ukraine.
