Gaza letter to US President Trump from Saadet Party Chairman Arıkan: 'Don't Be a Fool'
Saadet Party Chairman Mahmut Arıkan has written a letter to US President Donald Trump, who is making plans to remove Palestinians from Gaza and has claimed he would turn Gaza into a hell.
Warning Trump not to confuse homeland territory with real estate plots, Arıkan included the following statements in his letter:
"Mr. President: With your usual daydreaming, you are dictating that you will deport Gazans to other countries and open Gaza for development. Do not confuse homeland territory with real estate plots.
These things are not like being a real estate agent. Do not confuse Gaza with Greenland, which you thought you could buy with money, or the Gulf of Mexico, where you changed the name on the map.
I know you have no knowledge of history. I would like to remind you; many kings who came to make this geography live through hell do not even have a grave. You have two options. Either you will stand on the side of peace and humanity by supporting a ceasefire, or you will be remembered as a bloody murderer by dragging the region into a greater fire.
Do not be a fool by following the plans of Netanyahu, whose chair you are pulling. Take your hands off Gaza! If you need any information about the history of the region and the resistance against imperialism, call us."
The letter was also delivered to the US Embassy in Ankara.
