A sad day for CHP's Vahap Seçer
Arzu Seçer, the sister of Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB) Deputy President and Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Vahap Seçer, has passed away.
Doç. Dr. Arzu Seçer, a lecturer at Mersin University and sister of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Vahap Seçer, who had been receiving treatment for an illness for some time, passed away this morning in Mersin, where she was being treated.
The funeral of the 47-year-old Seçer will be held today, November 17, 2025, following the afternoon prayer (ikindi) at 16:00 at the Tarsus South Cemetery.
It was learned that condolences will be accepted at the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Wedding Hall located within the Mersin Coastal Culture Park.
