SADAT announces: Liens placed on Kılıçdaroğlu's assets

The Board of Directors of International Defense Consulting Construction Industry and Trade Inc. (SADAT) has claimed that a lien has been placed on the assets of former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

In a statement issued by SADAT, it was stated: "During the 2022 election period, the then-CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu conducted his own election propaganda with untrue statements consisting entirely of lies and fabricated accusations against our Company; he failed to prove his claims in the lawsuit we filed and could not present any documents. Kılıçdaroğlu first lost the 1 million lira compensation lawsuit filed by our Company in April 2023, and then lost the election 1 month later. As Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has not paid the compensation amount he was sentenced to in the more than 1.5 years that have passed, our Law Office has placed a lien through enforcement proceedings on Kılıçdaroğlu's assets, his receivables in various lawsuits, and all his bank accounts."

There has not yet been a statement from Kılıçdaroğlu or his lawyer Celal Çelik in response to the announcement.

WHAT DID KILIÇDAROĞLU SAY?

On May 13, 2022, Kılıçdaroğlu, accompanied by CHP deputies, had requested to meet with officials at SADAT's headquarters in Istanbul.

Kılıçdaroğlu, who was not allowed inside, said, "Turkey will never be surrendered to paramilitary organizations, institutions, or individuals. SADAT, in front of which we are currently standing, is a paramilitary organization. Until yesterday, these people were serving as Erdoğan's advisors. Among the goals of this organization is unconventional warfare training. That is, sabotage, raids, ambushes, destruction, assassination, and terror. 'Terror' is defined as 'tedhiş' in Arabic. Its Turkish equivalent is 'terör'. This place is also an organization that trains terrorists."
