Sale of Polat family's luxury vehicles halted at the last minute: Court has made its decision
While the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) was expected to offer the luxury vehicles belonging to Dilan and Engin Polat, valued at approximately 77 million Turkish Lira, for sale via auction, the tender was canceled following a stay of execution decision from the court.
The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) was preparing to put the luxury vehicles belonging to the couple Dilan and Engin Polat, who are currently detained on charges of money laundering and tax evasion, up for auction today (April 22, 2025). However, in a last-minute development, the sale process was halted by a court order.
The tender for the sale of the vehicles, which are owned by Milda Gayrimenkul Otomotiv Anonim Şirketi and have a market value of approximately 77 million TL, was scheduled to take place at 10:00 AM at the TMSF building in Istanbul.
The list of vehicles had even been shared prior to the sale, and many people had applied to participate in the auction. However, according to journalist Emrullah Erdinç, upon an objection filed by the Polat couple's lawyer, Sevinç Horoz, the court issued a stay of execution regarding the sale proceedings.

REMOVED FROM THE SALES LIST
Following this decision, the TMSF suspended the tender process and removed the vehicles from the sales list.
