Sarban, killed in shootout with police, had been acquitted of terror group membership: Revealed on Onlar TV
Journalist Barış Terkoğlu revealed striking information on the YouTube channel Onlar regarding Yunus Emre Sarban, the terrorist killed in a shootout with police in Istanbul.
An armed clash broke out in the area where the İş Towers and the Israeli Consulate are located in Levent, Istanbul. As a result of the incident, one suspect died and two suspects were injured. It was reported that two police officers were also slightly injured.
The Onlar TV channel, which brought the clash to its agenda, also revealed a striking fact.
It emerged that the terrorist Yunus Emre Sarban, who was killed in the shootout with police in Istanbul, had been acquitted of the charge of “membership in a terrorist organization.”

Barış Terkoğlu used the following expressions in his statement regarding the subject on his social media account:
I asked how the sanction imposed in 2021 on the terrorist who carried out the attack on the Ministry of Treasury and Finance today was lifted in 2024.
It emerged from the statement of Ministry sources that an acquittal and a decision of non-prosecution were obtained in the judiciary regarding the person in question for terror charges, and that the sanction was lifted as a result of this.
