Saymaz evaluates CHP's 'light protest'
Following the call made by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, all eyes were on the reaction citizens would give at 9:00 PM. İsmail Saymaz shared his thoughts on the CHP's call via his social media account.
In his call during the parliamentary group meeting, Özel invited citizens to show their reaction so that minimum wage earners and retirees can live under better conditions, and asked them to turn their lights on and off at 9:00 PM.
While citizens responded to Özgür Özel's call at 9:00 PM, a post came from İsmail Saymaz regarding the action in question.
Saymaz commented that it was not dark in Istanbul at the specified time, remarking that 'it would have been better if the time had been set later'.

HERE IS THAT POST BY SAYMAZ
"The CHP decided to turn lights on and off at 9:00 PM, but it is not dark in Istanbul at that time.
The time was chosen incorrectly.
It would have been more appropriate for it to be at 10:00 PM."
