Scandal at Kınık Courthouse: 2 kilos of drugs stolen with a fake destruction report!

It has been revealed that two kilograms of drugs were stolen from the judicial evidence warehouse at the Kınık Courthouse in İzmir. Within the scope of the investigation, it was alleged that court clerks S.A. and V.E., along with staff member O.M., removed the drugs from the warehouse by preparing a fake destruction report. It was stated that the suspects contacted D.G. through M.Ş. and K.Ş. for the purpose of sale.

During the operations conducted upon a tip-off, security cameras were scrutinized. The examination determined that a package was removed from the warehouse. The five detained suspects were arrested and sent to the Bergama M-Type Prison.

FAKE DESTRUCTION PROCESS FOR DRUGS IN THE WAREHOUSE

According to the report by İsmail Saymaz from Halk TV, following previous incidents involving gold and silver in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul, and weapons in the Adalar district, drug theft has now come to the fore at the judicial evidence warehouse in Kınık, İzmir. It was noted that three personnel working at the courthouse removed two kilograms of drugs found in the warehouse by preparing a fake destruction report.

PROCESS INITIATED UPON TIP-OFF

It was reported that D.G., who was called to check the quality of the drugs, called Kınık Courthouse Enforcement Director T.T. on February 2 and reported the situation. It was learned that T.T. recorded the tip-off in a report and gave instructions for an investigation to be conducted into the matter.

PACKAGE DETAIL IN CAMERA FOOTAGE

In the research conducted, security camera recordings were examined. The footage determined that three court clerks arrived at the courthouse building on January 29 between 20:05 and 20:32 and removed a package from the judicial evidence warehouse.
