Scandalous allegation: '15 July Association executives bought luxury villas with association funds'
A complaint was filed with the Presidential Communication Center (CİMER) alleging corruption within the 15 July Association and that the association's coffers were emptied. According to the allegations, association executives purchased luxury villas.
Relatives of those who lost their lives on July 15 have filed a complaint with the Presidential Communication Center (CİMER) alleging corruption.
According to the report by İsmail Arı from Birgün; the complaints included the following statements:
"The 15 July Association management embezzled donations from more than 100 business people and became owners of luxury villas in and around Istanbul. Every kind of examination, investigation, and inquiry should be launched into the assets of the association's management regarding their unexplained wealth. No one can profit from our pain, especially not from July 15, where treason against the homeland is in question."
