Scandalous assassination call from TRT Haber reporter: 'Those who call the Chief a dictator are running wild in our country...'
Murat Söylemez, a reporter for TRT Haber, which broadcasts using citizens' taxes, wrote scandalous sentences under a post where Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan targeted CHP leader Özgür Özel. Emulating Putin, Söylemez stated, "Chairman Hakan, in Russia, whoever opposed Putin ended up on the other side, either by accident or by natural causes. Putin even offered his condolences to all of them. Those who call the Chief a dictator are running wild in our country. I wonder if I made myself clear?"
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan targeted Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel in a post on April 6, stating, "Know your place now."
A scandalous comment made by TRT Haber reporter Murat Söylemez on Fidan's post drew attention.
Söylemez, who serves as the Bayburt reporter for TRT Haber, made an 'assassination' analogy through Russian leader Vladimir Putin and wrote the following:
"Chairman Hakan, in Russia, whoever opposed Putin ended up on the other side, either by accident or by natural causes. Putin even offered his condolences to all of them. Those who call the Chief a dictator are running wild in our country. I wonder if I made myself clear?"

Söylemez, who came to the agenda with his scandalous post, locked his account following the reactions.
