School bus runs over 6-year-old child after dropping him off in front of his home! Child fighting for his life
In Erzurum, 6-year-old Emre Kara was critically injured after being struck by a school bus. The child is currently in intensive care, fighting for his life.
According to the information received, a school bus driven by B.A. struck and ran over 6-year-old Emre Kara on September 24, after he had just stepped off the vehicle in front of his home on Ahi Toman Baba Street in the Hüseyin Avni Ulaş neighborhood. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. Kara was taken to Erzurum City Hospital by medical teams and was admitted to the intensive care unit for treatment.

RELEASED
The school bus driver, who was detained by police teams, was released under judicial control conditions after being referred to the courthouse.
The father, Abdurrahman Kara, explained to reporters that the school bus moved immediately after dropping his child off and that the incident occurred in this manner.

Stating that the bus driver left the child in front of the house after realizing what had happened, Kara said, "The building superintendent called and said, 'Abdurrahman, your child has had an accident, he is bleeding, we called an ambulance.' Later, the bus driver called me and said, 'Your child fell from the balcony, I saw him there, we called an ambulance and they took him to the hospital.' The bus driver was apparently trying to flee after the incident, but construction workers blocked his path and did not let him leave, which is why he returned to the scene. He is currently in intensive care. I filed a complaint, but the culprit is walking free right now."

Contractor Oğuzhan Coşkun, who arrived at the scene immediately after the incident, stated that they heard shouting while sitting in a container at their construction site and went outside, saying, "Someone was holding an injured child. When he saw us, he left the child over there (at the entrance of the complex). I went to the child. The child was covered in blood and was not conscious. I turned the child over, and once the blood drained from his mouth, he started to speak. We did our best to provide first aid. They took the child to the hospital by ambulance. We asked the bus driver how it happened, and he said he had fallen onto the sidewalk."
SECURITY CAMERA CAPTURED THE INCIDENT
In the apartment's security camera footage, it can be seen that the driver, B.A., gets out of the bus, picks the child up from the ground, and carries him to the entrance of the apartment. Afterward, citizens in the vicinity attempt to provide first aid to the child.
