In the Kale-centered earthquake, 21 schools in the city experienced minor damage to their paint and plaster. The Provincial Directorate of National Education completed the repair work it initiated in the schools immediately after the earthquake.

The schools affected by the earthquake resumed education and training today with the completion of the work. The Malatya Governorship had suspended education and training in 21 schools due to minor damage to paint and plaster caused by the earthquake in the Kale district.
