Search for an alternative to the Presidential Government System within the AKP

Journalist İsmail Küçükkaya has claimed that the AKP has begun preparations for a new system following the problems experienced with the Presidential Government System.

Speaking on his program Yeni Bir Sabah on Halk TV, Küçükkaya stated that senior AKP cadres are focusing on new roadmaps to overcome the problems that have emerged in the current system, particularly within the framework of the "50+1" rule.

Küçükkaya made the following statements during the broadcast:

"Let me provide some information. Now, some will make statements saying it's not like that, but let me tell you something I heard from several separate sources among important names in the AK Party wing. They also see this deadlock now. In the AK Party staff. And actually, they are currently in search of a new system, like a semi-presidential one, meaning a system where this 50 percent issue would be eliminated, and thus its handicaps would be overcome."
