Seçil Erzan files Fatih Terim motion with court: 'I was prevented from asking questions'

In the case of Seçil Erzan, who is being tried at the Istanbul 41st High Criminal Court for allegedly defrauding 28 people, including well-known footballers Arda Turan, Fernando Muslera, Emre Belözoğlu, and Selçuk İnan, of approximately 25 million dollars and 7 million 384 thousand liras by claiming there was a reliable fund with high returns that names like Fatih Terim were also involved in, Fatih Terim recently gave his statement at the Bodrum Courthouse.

Defendant Erzan's lawyer submitted an objection petition to the court against the statement given by Fatih Terim.

They stated that they do not accept the closed-door hearing held for Terim

In the objection petition submitted to the Istanbul 41st High Criminal Court by Erzan's lawyer, it was stated that a closed-door hearing was held for Terim and his representatives on August 20 in a manner contrary to the interim decision, which prevented them from attending the hearing and asking questions to Terim. In the petition, Erzan's lawyer stated that they never accept this situation, that their right to defense was restricted, and requested that Terim's statement be taken on the hearing date determined in the previous session, which is open to the participation of Erzan and her lawyer.
