Second suicide in one week at Cevahir Mall! Woman who jumped from the 5th floor loses her life
A woman jumped from the 5th floor at the Istanbul Cevahir Shopping Center. The woman, who fell to the ground floor of the shopping center, lost her life at the scene.
The incident occurred around 22:00 in the evening at the Cevahir Shopping Center located on Büyükdere Street in Şişli.
According to the information obtained, a 32-year-old woman identified as C.M. climbed over the railings on the 5th floor of the shopping center and jumped. Citizens who witnessed the incident gathered around the woman in a panic. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Following their initial examination, medical teams determined that the individual had lost her life. It was learned that C.M. had a prior record of attempting to take her own life.
SECOND SUICIDE CASE IN THE SAME MALL IN ONE WEEK
Last Tuesday, another individual had ended their life at the Cevahir Shopping Center. As a result of this incident, a similar situation has occurred for the second time in the last week. Following the investigations conducted by the crime scene investigation teams, the police have launched an inquiry into the incident.
