Second suspect in Pendik residence attack apprehended
The second suspect, S.K., who carried out an armed attack on the district governor's residence in Pendik, has been apprehended. It was learned that S.K. has a criminal record of 31 offenses.

In Istanbul's Pendik district, attackers who carried out an armed assault on the police checkpoint at the district governor's residence fled the scene after police returned fire.
While there were no deaths or injuries in the incident, an investigation launched by security forces led to the arrest of S.Ö., who has a criminal record of 7 offenses, mostly for theft; he was subsequently sent to prison.
The second attacker on the motorcycle, identified as S.K., has also been apprehended.
S.K., who was found to have a criminal record of 31 offenses, was taken into custody during an operation conducted by teams from the Public Security Bureau.
