Secret meeting between Iran and the US: Private jet took off from Turkey, list of 10 MOSSAD agents handed over

Following the assassination of Haniyeh, all eyes have turned to Iran and its proxy forces. While the Israeli press reported that Tehran would launch an attack from four countries and suggested that the US military would intervene in response, Israeli officials themselves announced the date for this potential all-out war. Meanwhile, the Israeli army assassinated a high-ranking Hamas official in the West Bank. Dozens of rockets were fired from southern Lebanon into northern Israel. Iran issued a statement saying, "Israel has crossed a major red line, and we will definitely respond."

While Iran's retaliatory attack is awaited, allegations of a "secret meeting" have surfaced. 

First, let us recall the "secret meeting" that made headlines in the Israeli press in May 2024. 

It was reported that representatives from the US and Iran held a "secret meeting" in Oman to contain the tension in the Middle East. 

This time, a striking "secret meeting" report has come from the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida. 

According to journalist Nevzat Çiçek, the following report was published in the pages of the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida this morning:

“A US delegation secretly took off from Turkey on a private jet last Thursday and went to Iran. Meetings were held with intelligence and foreign affairs officials.

- The US told Iran that they had no prior knowledge of the Haniyeh assassination, that Netanyahu has gone out of control and wants a regional war,

- That Biden does not want to go to war with Iran, but that they will defend Israel following an Iranian attack,

- That they would understand if Iran carried out an attack for the sake of its prestige, and that if they reach a nuclear deal, they could deal the biggest blow to Netanyahu,

- That as a gesture of goodwill, the US provided Iran with a list of 10 MOSSAD agents who may have been involved in the assassination and had infiltrated Iran,

the newspaper claimed in its headline.

The delegation told Iran, "We understand you carrying out an attack for prestige. But do not escalate it. If we make a nuclear deal immediately, you will deal the biggest blow to Netanyahu." 

The newspaper's report cited an official from the Iranian Supreme National Security Council as its source. 

The report stated that the Iranians did not say anything to the Americans and expressed that they would convey the message to higher authorities.

The newspaper, which wrote that the meeting lasted two hours, stated that Netanyahu expressed his determination to expand the regional war during a meeting with the Jewish lobby and also mentioned Turkey by name.
