Following journalist Barış Pehlivan and Halk TV managing editor Serhan Asker, presenter Seda Selek has also been detained.

Pehlivan had spoken yesterday with expert witness Satılmış Büyükcanayakın, who was identified by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, and the recording of said conversation was broadcast on Halk TV.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had launched an investigation into the Halk TV presenter, its officials, and Pehlivan on charges of 'attempting to influence an expert witness' and 'recording and eavesdropping on private conversations.'

Following Pehlivan and Asker, presenter Seda Selek has also been detained.
