Sedat Peker retweeted a thank-you post shared on social media by artist Atilla Taş following the passing of his daughter.
In his post, Taş stated that he could not find the words to describe the pain he was experiencing and thanked those who supported him. Stating that "pain can truly become bearable when shared," Taş expressed that many people from different viewpoints had stood by him.
Addressing fellow artists who were criticized for not attending the funeral, Taş noted that they might have appeared absent due to the sudden nature of the event and the distance, but added that he felt their support, stating, "almost all of them called and checked in."
“Now I want to take care of and look after my two little lambs, the legacy left by my child. My daughter was the kindest person in the world; I miss her so much.”
At the end of his message, Taş apologized to those whose calls he could not return and said he needed to stay strong for his grandchildren. Peker's retweet of this post drew attention on social media.
