Selahattin Demirtaş's brother shares 'Hopefully': 'One day it will end'

The social media post by the brother of former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, who is currently imprisoned in Edirne Prison, has become a topic of discussion. 

Sharing a photograph of Demirtaş, his brother Süleyman Demirtaş wrote, "Maybe tomorrow, maybe sooner than tomorrow. Hopefully! Of course, one day this injustice will also end."

In a subsequent post, Demirtaş added, "Hopefully! Of course, one day this injustice will also end. We will keep our faith alive, but this is not a sentence I wrote based on concrete data. It is what needs to happen as soon as possible."

VISITED WITH SPECIAL PERMISSION

In recent weeks, Selahattin Demirtaş was taken to Istanbul from Edirne Prison with special permission to accompany his wife, Başak Demirtaş, who underwent surgery. A photograph of Demirtaş taken at the hospital with his wife Başak Demirtaş and DEM Party MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder had emerged.
