Selahattin Demirtaş issues 'Öcalan' message following terrorist attack on TUSAŞ
Following the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ, Selahattin Demirtaş issued a statement, saying, "Those who try to cut off the search for solutions to our problems through dialogue and politics with blood must know that if Öcalan takes an initiative and wants to pave the way for politics, we will stand behind him with all our strength."
A terrorist attack was carried out on the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) facility located in Kahramankazan, Ankara.
As a result of the attack by 2 terrorists, 5 people were martyred and 22 people were injured.
Former HDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş made a statement following the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ. The statement, shared via his social media account, included the following remarks;
"WE WILL NEVER ALLOW IT"
“We condemn the attack in Ankara; we wish God's mercy upon those who lost their lives, and offer our condolences and patience to their families. We also wish a speedy recovery to the injured, along with our best wishes for their well-being.
“Those who try to cut off the search for solutions to our problems through dialogue and politics with blood must know that if Öcalan takes an initiative and wants to pave the way for politics, we will stand behind him with all our strength.
We will not accept any approach aimed at discrediting or rendering democratic politics and the search for peace ineffective. Everyone should make their calculations accordingly. We will never allow the voices of those who want peace to be suppressed this time, no matter where they come from.”
