Selvi's commentary on the wave of resignations in the IYI Party: 'So, dirty business has been going on...'
Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi stated that "the resignations of Durmuş Yılmaz and Bahadır Erdem are not the last," and upon a source telling him that Akşener would conduct a 'cleanup' within the IYI Party, he remarked, 'so, dirty business has been going on.'
Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi made statements regarding the wave of resignations in the IYI Party in his column today.
"SO, DIRTY BUSINESS HAS BEEN GOING ON"
While Selvi stated, "It is said that the resignations of Durmuş Yılmaz and Bahadır Erdem are not the last. Now, all eyes are turned to Uğur Poyraz and Ümit Dikbayır, who were once among the closest names to Meral Akşener," he included the following remarks in his column:
"Allegations are flying in the IYI Party. There is talk of money being moved abroad. Resignations will continue in the IYI Party. It is said that the number of uneasy deputies is 10, and that 3 deputies are even at the stage of resigning.
A source I trust said that Meral Akşener has initiated a purification and cleanup process in the party. Since a cleanup process has begun, it means that dirty business has been going on..."
