WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
Şebnem Korur Fincancı became the focus of reactions and faced harsh criticism after she alleged that the Turkish Armed Forces had "used chemical weapons" in counter-terrorism operations.
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) also stated in its announcement regarding the matter that there are no chemical weapons in the Turkish Armed Forces' inventory.
