Separatist terrorist organization lays down arms, targets Lausanne: First comment from AKP's Efkan Ala, a key figure in the process

In the new reconciliation process, which the government calls a 'Terror-Free Turkey,' the terrorist organization PKK has announced that it has dissolved itself.

In the terrorist organization's statement, the Treaty of Lausanne, which is the title deed of the Republic of Turkey, was targeted.

Efkan Ala, Deputy Chairman of the AKP, who was present alongside AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the day the DEM Party Imralı Delegation went to the Presidential Palace, made a statement on his social media account.

Ala, who plays an active role in the process, argued that "a very important threshold has been crossed on the path to a Terror-Free Turkey." Ala remained silent on the terrorist organization's targeting of the Treaty of Lausanne.

"A very important threshold has been crossed on the path to a Terror-Free Turkey.

The terrorist organization has decided to lay down its arms and dissolve itself.

An important stage has been reached regarding the termination and liquidation of illegal structures.

At this important stage reached, the mechanisms regarding the work to be done and the management of the process will be operated as required.

We are moving forward with determination toward the goal of a terror-free Turkey, set forth by the will and wisdom of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Mr. Devlet Bahçeli."
