September housing price index announced
The Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) (2023=100), calculated to monitor price changes in housing in Turkey adjusted for quality effects, increased by 1 percent in September compared to the previous month, reaching 148.
While the RPPI showed a 27.4 percent increase on an annual basis in September, the real decrease during this period was 14.7 percent.

Looking at the RPPI changes in the three major cities, an increase of 1.2 percent in Istanbul, 2.2 percent in Ankara, and 0.8 percent in Izmir was recorded in September compared to the previous month.
When index values are compared with the same month of the previous year, there was an increase of 23.4 percent in Istanbul, 30.4 percent in Ankara, and 23.1 percent in Izmir.
