Serik Belediyespor footballer Mümin Talip Pazarlı passes away due to leukemia
Mümin Talip Pazarlı, the 29-year-old footballer for Serik Belediyespor, which competes in the TFF 2nd League White Group, has passed away due to leukemia.
According to the information obtained, center-back Mümin Talip, who transferred to Serik Belediyespor from Ankara Demirspor during the 2023-2024 football season mid-season break, fell ill 3 weeks ago. The footballer, who applied to a private hospital in Serik, was diagnosed with leukemia.
Later transferred to a private hospital in Istanbul, Mümin Talip could not be saved despite the treatment applied.
Serik Belediyespor President İbrahim Şahin said in a statement, "We lost him this morning. As a community, we are very sad. He was an honest and principled footballer. Our condolences to the entire football community."
It was learned that the family's decision regarding where Mümin Talip's funeral will be held is being awaited.
