SGK move against 'fraudulent divorce'

The Social Security Institution (SGK) is pursuing those who receive pensions through fraudulent divorce.

Those who resort to fraudulent divorce to receive a pension inherited from a mother or father are being identified by SGK teams.

The pensions of women who divorce their spouses to receive an orphan's pension but are found to be living in the same house are being cut, and all payments made up to that point are being reclaimed with interest.

The Social Security Institution made a noteworthy post regarding those who resort to fraudulent divorce.

In the post made by the SGK, the warning came: "Attention! Pensions granted to individuals who are determined to be living together in practice with their divorced spouse are being cut in line with the findings made by our institution. Do not forget to act in accordance with the law to avoid loss of rights."
