The Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet), which has recently remained in the spotlight for the luxury vehicles it rents and its meat-heavy menus, has now come to the fore with its president, Ali Erbaş.

It has emerged that Diyanet President Erbaş, who has traveled to 42 countries during his 7 years in office, has not attended a single program at Anıtkabir during national holidays throughout this period.

It was noted that Erbaş, who has been criticized for failing to mention Atatürk in the Friday sermons he delivered before national holidays, has not attended any programs at Anıtkabir during his tenure.

STRIKING CRITICISM FROM HÜSEYİN BAŞ

One of the figures to criticize Diyanet President Ali Erbaş for not attending any programs at Anıtkabir was Independent Turkey Party (BTP) Chairman Hüseyin Baş.

Sharing a video on his party's social media account in which he commented on the matter, Baş stated the following:

"The Diyanet President, who has traveled to 42 countries in 7 years, has never been to Anıtkabir.

May God grant guidance to those who align with the Greeks when it comes to hostility toward Atatürk..."
