Sharp rebuke from Şebnem Sönmez to TRT: 'Remove it from broadcast'

TRT has begun taking action following the movement that grew on social media and turned into a boycott call after the arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

Addressing TRT directly, Sönmez stated that she supports the boycott and demanded that the series '7 Numara', which has been rebroadcast for years, be removed from all digital platforms.

'I am addressing TRT. I support the boycott. Remove 7 Numara, which you have broadcast countless times, from your platforms.'
