She explained the release process: Statement on Engin Polat from Dilan Polat's lawyer Sevinç Horoz

Social media influencer and beauty center owner Dilan Polat, who had been in prison since November 5 as part of an investigation launched against her for 'money laundering and tax evasion', was released yesterday (August 19).

After her release, Polat went to her sister Sıla Doğu's house in Sarıyer to reunite with her children and family.

Her lawyer, Sevinç Horoz, who visited Dilan Polat late at night, made statements.

Stating that she went to see Engin Polat to share the news of the release, Horoz shared details regarding Dilan Polat's health status and the release process.

Providing information about the release process, Horoz said, "During the routine detention review conducted on August 9, it was decided that her detention would continue. At this stage, the prosecutor's opinion was in favor of release. We filed our objection to the higher court in line with this, and based on that, the release decision was made."

Stating that they expected their objection to have a positive outcome, Horoz said, "We were expecting it; our file had been under review for a week. The evaluation of the objection had not yet been made. Our decision arrived before noon today. Since the evaluation process for our objection took a bit long, they couldn't make an assessment regarding what kind of news would come or what the result of the evaluation would be, but frankly, I thought the objection would result in a release."

"OF COURSE SHE HAD PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS"

Confirming that Dilan Polat fainted during her meeting with her family and speaking about her health, Horoz said, "I see her often; of course, she had health problems and psychological issues. The conditions inside are well-known; of course, they were not good. Now she has reunited with her children, and she is very happy right now with her family and children."

Stating that there is no signature requirement for Polat under the terms of her release, Horoz said, "She was released with only a travel ban as a judicial control measure. There is no signature obligation."

Horoz said that all defendants in the case will appear before the court on September 4 to provide their statements and declarations.

Speaking about Dilan Polat's current state, Horoz said, "We experienced our joy regarding the release. I also arrived at a very late hour. I came from Engin Polat's side and shared this information with him regarding the release. She is currently experiencing her joy. She has hugged her children and is trying to make up for the time she and her family have been apart for months."

Reminding that she came from Engin Polat's side, Horoz said, "Of course he is very happy; his wife being with their children made him very happy."
