Following Kaya's resignation, AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik made a statement regarding the process referred to in the public eye as the "fund crisis."

Every item and detail of the agenda referred to as the fund crisis is being meticulously monitored and evaluated by our authorized institutions within the party from the very first moment, under the instructions of our Chairman and President.
While making these evaluations, our fundamental principle is the expression of our President and Chairman: 'Anyone who bears responsibility will be held accountable'.
Within the framework of this principle, the fight against all kinds of wrongdoing, corruption, abuse, and irregularity will be waged 'without compromise'.
The rights and legal standing of our citizens who have been negatively affected by this process, referred to as the fund crisis, will be handled meticulously.
Under the instructions of our President, comprehensive work by all our institutions, primarily our Ministry of Justice and our Ministry of Treasury and Finance, in full coordination, will uncover all dimensions of the events; nothing will remain in the dark, and the necessary actions will be taken.
If there is an allegation, it will be investigated. All irregularities will be uncovered. Those who do wrong will be held accountable before the law.

It is a problem that has emerged in a limited part of the capital markets, in a certain number of funds. While addressing this problem, as our President stated, we are conducting comprehensive work to 'ensure the implementation of whatever measures are needed, including legal and administrative regulations, to prevent a similar problem from occurring'.

ALLEGATION OF CMB INVESTIGATION
On the other hand, it has been alleged that the Capital Markets Board (CMB) has expanded its investigation into the Kaya couple's transactions in OZATD shares and is preparing a criminal complaint against the two individuals.
It was reported that the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has also requested measures including the restriction of sales and transfer transactions regarding the Kaya couple's assets, the monitoring of money transfers, and the freezing of securities.
