She had undergone a health check: Decision regarding Serenay Sarıkaya in custody

The investigation initiated by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the use of drugs and stimulants continues. Within the scope of the investigation, teams from the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command carried out operations at 25 addresses identified in the districts of Beşiktaş, Sarıyer, Beyoğlu, Kağıthane, and Üsküdar, as well as in Muğla. During the operations, 20 suspects, including well-known names, were taken into custody.

The suspects, whose procedures at the Provincial Gendarmerie Command were completed, were taken to Seyrantepe Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital for a health check. Later, 9 of the suspects, who were referred to the Council of Forensic Medicine units for blood and hair samples to be taken, were released, while 11 people were sent to the courthouse. It was learned that one of the suspects, Mehmet Rahşan, was arrested.

Actress Serenay Sarıkaya, who was stated to have a detention warrant against her and was learned to have returned from abroad, was also taken into custody by Gendarmerie teams today. After her procedures at the Gendarmerie, Sarıkaya was brought to Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital, where she underwent a health check.

It was stated that the actress was referred to the Council of Forensic Medicine for tests regarding drug use.

Serenay Sarıkaya was released following her statement at the Gendarmerie and the test she provided to the Council of Forensic Medicine.
